Agapanthus inapertus, known as the drooping or drakensberg agapanthus, is a striking perennial native to Southern Africa. It is celebrated for its graceful pendulous blue flowers and architectural garden presence. The flowers appear in late summer, attracting a variety of bees and butterflies to the garden. This is the dark blue colour form from Graskop in Mpumalanga.

It is used traditionally as a good luck charm.
