Crinum graminicola is a slow growing broad leaved sun-loving species from the grassland in the northern parts of South Africa. They produce lovely rich pink sweet-scented flowers. The bulbs get very big so best grown in large pots with well drained sandy soil, keep dry in winter dormant period. Used in traditional medicine to treat urinary tract ailments.
