Amaryllidaceae
This is a dwarf form of C.guttata from the overberg in the Southern Cape, it flowers a lot more reliably in pots than the larger forms that are found elsewhere in the province. It is an unusual species endemic to western cape, closely relatated to brunsvigia but its leaf margins are densely frindged with dark hair like bristles, its maroon flowers are pollinated by honeybees and bee flies. They do well in well-drained sandy medium with a little organic compost mixed in.
