A dainty small species with fine leaves and pale cream flowers with orange stripes. Its flowers are much smaller than its relatives loddigesianus and speciosus, and unlike them they grow more inland often in harder rocky soil. It grows well in pots in a well-drained sandy medium, care needs to be taken not to overwater.
