A rare species that grows in rock crevices on cliff faces in the dry areas of kouga mountains. This sunbird pollinated species is similar to C.labiatus but about 3 times larger. Grows well in pots with well drained course medium with a little compost with a good watering once every 2 weeks in growing season.
