Leaves of this form are short, boad and leathery, much the same as Haemanthus deformis. A great plant for both pots and gardens. Its one of the few evergreen haemanthus species. They enjoy well-drained, humus-rich medium with composted pine bark included. Used in traditional medicine to treat chronic coughs and healing of broken bones, and as protectice charms against lightning.
