This is a dwarf, hairy leaved form of H.albiflos from the coastal region near Alexandria. A great plant for both pots and gardens. Its one of the few evergreen haemanthus species. They enjoy well-drained, humus-rich medium with composted pine bark included. Used in traditional medicine to treat chronic coughs and healing of broken bones, and as protectice charms against lightning.
